18 athletes from Mid-Prairie High School will represent the Golden Hawks at the State Track and Field Meet this week.

For the boys team Marshal Teets automatically qualified for the 800m dash, Zach Pettit automatically qualified for the 1600 and 3200m run. Peyton Miller automatically qualified for the 400 meter hurdles, and Levi Duwa automatically qualified for discus and shot put. The 4×400 meter team, 4×800 meter team, and the distance medley team all automatically qualified, which includes Cary Schaefer, Miller, Teets, Quinn Schmidt, Andrew Schwartz, and Terrhyn Jacoby. Performance qualifiers include Jacoby for the 100m dash, Schwartz for the 800m run, Floyd Evans for the 3200m run, and Kyle Miller for high jump.

On the girls side, Anna Hostetler and Marie Hostetler both automatically qualified for three solo events, the 800m run, 1500m run, and the 3000m run. The 4×800 meter team automatically qualified, which includes Abby Tornow, Marie Hostetler, Katie Cavanaugh, and Anna Hostetler. The 4×400 meter team and the distance medley team are performance qualifiers, including Tornow, Abbagail Evans, Kitty Conway, Greta Schmidt, and Kessa Jones.
