Diplomas were awarded, tassels moved from one side to the other, and caps were thrown in the air as 117 Washington High School seniors became alumni Sunday.

Graduation was held in the high school gymnasium. This year’s valedictorian was announced as Jessie Buchholz and Andrea Pingol was salutatorian. Three students presented speeches, Cody Chalupa, Margaret Voss, and Quinn Buckingham. School is officially out for the summer for the entire Washington district.
