A building the City of Washington purchased two years ago is up for sale. The former Linda Lou’s Diner and Red Bear Daycare at 123 East 2nd Street is for sale. The city council approved an agreement to buy the real estate for $85,000 with Washington State Bank in 2015. The council had initially purchased the property when the council was discussing renovating the former library building, which they sold to Greiner Buildings this spring. Bids are due by 2 p.m. June 1st and the minimum bid is $85,000.
