Still perfect. That is the Demon baseball team as they continued their hot start to the season by sweeping a doubleheader against Louisa-Muscatine Tuesday night.

In game one, the Demons (7-0) utilized strong pitching with timely hitting to secure the 5-3 win. Jacob Hall looked strong on the bump going 4 1/3 innings, giving up two runs. Chase McDole cleaned things up in the end, completing the eight out save without giving up a run. Michael Gier and Ryan Loy led the offensive charge, each having a pair of hits with a combined four RBI.

In game two, it was all Demons from the start as they capitalized on nine runs in the first three frames to cruise to the 11-1 mercy rule win in five innings. Gier continued his hot start from the plate, going 3-for-3 with a RBI. Kiowa Keith, Luke Turner, and Kole Hinrichsen combined on the mound to go five innings, giving up one unearned run.

The Demons get back on the diamond tomorrow night when they host Fairfield (4-2) for a doubleheader.
