It was business as usual for the Washington girls’ golf team at regionals in Waterloo, as they punched their ticket to a third straight state meet appearance.

The Demons advance to the big stage by placing second at the meet with a score of 381. Dubuque Wahlert won the regional final with a score of 364. It may sound like a broken record, but Sarah Nacos was the meet medalist with a 75 lowering her state leading 18-hole average of 77.8. Megan Strabala and Alison Vogel continue to go neck and neck as they both posted a 99. Carly Burlingame rounded out the scoring for the Demons with a 108.
