The Washington boys and girls track teams make the trip to Fairfield tonight for the Brookhart Relays. The Demon boys and girls were both in action Thursday at the Ekstrand Relays at WACO.

The Washington boys were team champions of the meet, collecting four event championships on the way including Sawyer Whisler in the 100, Caleb Bex in the 110 hurdles, Ethan Hunt in the 400 hurdles and the shuttle hurdle relay team. The Washington girls were sixth in the meet, the 4×800 team had the best finish of the night taking third. Washington’s Hannah Anderson is coming off of a successful weekend at the Drake Relays that saw her place second in the long jump, setting a new school record and 16th in the 100m dash.

Joining the Demons in Fairfield tonight are Centerville, Davis County, Fort Madison, Mount Pleasant and the homestanding Trojans. Action begins this evening at 5 p.m.
