The late comeback fell just short for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys soccer team Friday as they dropped a non-conference match at Keokuk 3-2.

The Chiefs jumped out to an early 2-0 lead before Mid-Prairie responded with goals from Ashton Van Winkle and Jason Tew, tying the game. The Chiefs maintained composure despite losing their lead and were able to score the game winning goal in the final minute of the contest. With the loss, Mid-Prairie is now 5-5 on the year and will be in action at home Thursday against Mediapolis for senior night.
