The Mid-Prairie girls golf team team competed at the River Valley Conference championship meet at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course Wednesday.
The Golden Hawks finished seventh out of 13 schools with an overall score of 220. Wilton won the meet with a 194. Paige Slabaugh and Abby Statler led Mid-Prairie with matching 53s, tying for 23rd overall. Other scores for the Hawks included Lindsey Palmer, Abbi Patterson and Kenzi Bontrager with 57 and Emma Mattes with a 58. The Golden Hawks will next be in action Monday at the regional tournament in Centerville.
