The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys soccer team makes the road trip to Wapello tonight to take on the Indians.

Mid-Prairie is coming off of a big home win Friday night, pounding the Cedar Valley Christian Huskies 9-0. It was a match that saw eight different Golden Hawks find the back of the net led by Ricky Vargas with two goals. On the season the 4-4 Hawks are led by Cian Borra with eight goals. Jason Tew has the team lead with seven assists and Ryan Miller leads the Hawks in goal with 15 saves.

Wapello comes into the night with an overall record of 3-8. In their last match they were beaten by the Central Lee Hawks 7-3. On the season the Indians are led by Cobi Cline with four goals, sixth in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. In goal they are led by Rogan Pforts with 108 saves, eighth most in the state.

These two teams met a year ago with Mid-Prairie taking a 3-2 win in Wellman. Action begins tonight at 5p.m. in Wapello.
