The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys golf team saw their season come to an end Friday at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo in the district round of postseason play.
The Hawks finished with a 368 team score. Clayton Ridge was the team champion with a 336 team score, Wilton took the other qualifying spot with a 347, finishing as runners-up. Collin Gingerich led the Golden Hawks with a round of 86, finishing in 12th place. Other scores for the Hawks included Duncan McCain at 93, Michael Callahan 94, Ryan Smit 95, Noah Schlabaugh 102 and Ryan Slaubaugh 105. Mid-Prairie loses seniors Duncan McCain and Sam Bailey to graduation.
