The Highland Huskies saw their Southeast Iowa Superconference Soccer Tournament run come to an end Friday night at Danville, falling to the No. 7 ranked Bears by a mercy rule 10-0 score.

The Huskies advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament by scoring their first win of the season earlier in the week over Central Lee 2-1. Kole Perkins led the Bears with an incredible seven goals scored in the match. The Bears advance to Saturday’s semifinals where they will face area school Columbus, who was a winner over Holy Trinity Catholic in their Friday quarterfinal.
