The No. 11 ranked Iowa Mennonite School boys soccer team travels to No. 3 Iowa City Regina tonight for a class 1A Substate semifinal match up.

IMS won their seventh straight match on Monday, cruising by Chariton in a 4-0 win. Cole Ours scored twice while Seth Danga and Jared Schlabaugh each had one goal. Ours has the team lead with 19 goals on the season, second most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. He also holds the team and conference leads with 12 assists. In goal, Blake Bontrager has 68 saves on the year.

Regina enters action with an overall record of 11-5, in their last match they beat Muscatine 2-1. Nick Pechous leads Regina with 15 goals this season, Mason Welter has seven assists to lead the Regals. Regina eliminated IMS from last year’s playoffs, dealing them a 7-0 loss in Iowa City. The winner of this match advances to the Substate final Saturday to take on the winner of Williamsburg and Pella Christian. Action begins tonight at 4:30 in Iowa City.
