The Keota and Sigourney boys’ and girls’ track teams participate in the South Iowa Cedar League meet tonight at Iowa Valley.

Sigourney’s Autum and Summer Barthelman dominate the leaderboards in the SICL, owning the best times in five events combined. Autum posted the top 100m time of 12.77 seconds and the 100m hurdles in 15.06 seconds. Summer claims the league best time in the 400 hurdles of 1:06.48 and they both are part of the leading 4×100 and shuttle hurdle relay teams. The sisters are fresh off of their busy weekend at the Drake Relays where they competed in a combined four events. Other members to watch for the Savages are Paige Thompson, who has posted the fifth best time in the league for the 3000m, and Megan Stuhr, who has the fifth best heave in the discus.

The Keota girls are paced by Jill Schulte who leads the team in both the 100m dash with a best time of 15.51 seconds and the 100m hurdles with a time of 20.31 seconds. Schulte found success last week at BGM where she placed third in the 100m hurdles.
