The Sigourney Savage boys golf team traveled to Belle Plaine Friday for the class 1A Sectional meet. Sigourney moved onto districts with a team score of 371 finishing in third place.
Iowa Valley and the Plainsmen tied for top team honors with their rounds of 361. Top finisher for the Savages was Kaden Benson with his round of 87, taking third place individually. The Savages will be in action Thursday, May 18th at the District meet at Pleasant Valley in Iowa City.
