Boys

Class 1A

WACO’s Beau Beckler 19th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.13 seconds.

Lone Tree’s Niko Gosnell placed second in the high jump clearing 6’5”, Winfield-Mt. Union’s Kolten Buster was 13th clearing 5’10”.

The WACO 4×200 team of Calvin Battle, Elijah McGohan, Colton Horak and Cornell Hulme were 14th in 1:33.75. The Keota team of Luke Greiner, Logan Sieren, JD Stout and Jacob Wickenkamp were 21st in 1:34.47 and the Lone Tree team of Jovonte Squiers, Niko Gosnell, Avery Knock and Drake Hotz were 22nd in 1:35.66.

Lone Tree’s Casey Shalla placed 11th in discus with a heave of 130’3”.

Sigourney’s 4×100 team of Carson Crawford, Bryce Goldman, Will Magill, and Avery Moore placed fifth in  in 44.7 seconds. Lone Tree’s team of Drake Hotz, Avery Knock, Jovonte Squiers, and Niko Gosnell was 12th in 45.18 seconds. WACO’s team of Calvin Battle, Colton Horak, Elijah McGohan, and Cornell Hulme placed 15th in 45.45 seconds.  WMU’s team of Kolten Buster, Brandon Snowden, Broc Mullin, and Bryce Robison did not record a time.

Class 2A

Mid-Prairie’s Peyton Miller finishes fifth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 55.77, Abel Mena of Columbus was 12th in 57.63.

Mid-Prairie’s Kyle Miller took 14th in the high jump clearing 6′

Mid-Prairie’s Levi Duwa finished eighth in the discus with a throw of 158’11”

The Mid-Prairie 4×400 team of Cary Schaefer, Peyton Miller, Marshall Teets and Quinn Schmidt took 12th in 3:31.24.

The Mid-Prairie distance medley team of Quinn Schmidt, Terrhyn Jacoby, Cary Schaefer and Andrew Schwartz was eighth in 3:39.92.

Class 3A

Washington’s Caleb Bex competed in the 3A 110 hurdles but did not record a time.

Girls

Class 1A

Autum Barthelman of Sigourney qualifies for the finals of the 100m hurdles in first place with a time of 15.37 seconds. Emily Feldman of Lone Tree finished in 22nd at 17.33 seconds.

Sigourney’s Summer Barthelman wins the championship in the 400m hurdles for Class 1A with a time of 1:05.19.

In prelims for 1A 4×100 Sigourney’s team of Autum Barthelman, Leah Carter, Brooke Waechter, and Summer Barthelman advances to finals by posting a fifth place finish in 51.86 seconds. WACO’s team of Kasey Sutton, Kiana Miller, Laney Graber, and Grace Conwell did not qualify placing 11th in 52.71 seconds.

In Class 2A

The Mid-Prairie distance medley relay of Kessa Jones, Greta Schmidt, Abbagail Evans and Abby Tornow placed 20th with a time of 4:32.78

The Mid-Prairie 4×400 team of Abby Tornow, Abbagail Evans, Kitty Conway and Greta Schmidt took 24th in 4:29.56.

Shania Boyd of the Columbus Wildcats placed 21st in the prelims of the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.90 seconds. Boyd was also 16th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:09.74.

In Class 3A

The Washington 4×200 team of Ashley Telleen, Isabel Bailey, Leah Marek, and Jenah Greiner finished 21st with a time of 1:52.14.

Washington’s Ashley Telleen was 14th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.71

Hannah Anderson of Washington was state runner up in the long jump, clearing 17’9.75”
