The Columbus and Iowa Mennonite School softball teams face off Monday night in Kalona for a Southeast Iowa Superconference match up.

IMS comes into the contest with an 0-2 overall record. They have had a week off since their 11-7 loss to Mediapolis at home. On the year IMS is led by Rubye Ney and her .500 average. In the circle Hannah Harris has worked 11 innings so far with an 11.40 ERA.

Columbus also enters play looking for their first win on the campaign. The Wildcats are 0-10 this season. In their last game they fell to Highland 11-0. On the year the Wildcats are led by Aubrey Duncan and her .250 average. In the circle Emma Milder has worked 17 innings with an 8.48 ERA.

These two teams met a season ago with Columbus scoring eight times in their final at bat to take a wild 12-11 win.
