The battle for third place in the Southeast Conference is on the line tonight in Washington as the Demon softball team takes to the diamond against Keokuk.

The two teams met up earlier in the year in Keokuk as the conference foes split a doubleheader. Washington (16-14) is coming off a tournament on Friday where they lost to Muscatine 10-4 and beat Wilton in a back and forth 7-6 affair. Haylee Wilson was big in game one going 3-for-4 from the plate with a home run and pair of RBI.

Keokuk (16-15) has found their stride within the last week, winners of four of their last five contests. Michaela Davis leads the Chiefs with a .467 BA and 11 RBI. Makenzie Pezley is the catalyst in the circle with a 3.58 ERA on the year.

Game one gets started at 5:30 p.m. tonight at Washington High School. Tune into KCII to listen to the broadcast starting at 5 p.m. for the Washington HyVee pregame show.
