The Washington boys’ soccer team was well represented on the 2017 Southeast All-Conference team.

The Demons that made the all-conference team were midfielder Caleb Suchan and defender Owen Horak. Suchan was a huge boost offensively for the Demons as he racked up 12 goals in his sophomore campaign, leading the team and fifth most in the conference. This is the second year he’s been named to the All-Conference team. Horak was the ironman at sweeper for the Demons as his quickness was key on defense.

Kyle Anderson and Levi Rohr were awarded honorable mention. Anderson, a senior captain, was the do-it-all utility player who was able to play multiple positions to help the team. Head coach Sally Hart described Anderson as being a great communicator and leader on the field. Rohr looked impressive in his freshman season as his strong leg and ability to read the field was critical in the defensive success of the team.

To round out the postseason awards Anderson, John Dillon, and Brandon Stephanie were all named to the Academic All-Conference team, given to juniors and seniors with a grade point average at or above 3.25.
