The second readings of two ordinances will be held at the Washington City Council meeting Tuesday night regarding animal control and protection, and fireworks in the city.

The council will also consider an engineering task order regarding an inflow and infiltration reduction project in the southeast basin. Two special presentations will also be held one about a sip and shop event with Main Street Washington, and the second is about the Flying Pigs Duathlon. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Washington Public Library.
