The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball team finishes off the River Valley Conference season tonight when they host the Wilton Beavers for a doubleheader.

The Golden Hawks enter action with an 11-18 overall record. They recorded a sweep of the West Branch Bears Monday by 8-5 and 13-3 scores. On the season the Hawks are led by Kathryn Conway and her .500 average. In the circle Cassidy Rourke has thrown 147 innings with a 4.75 ERA and 10-11 overall record.

Wilton comes into the night with an overall record of 18-16. The Beavers split a doubleheader with West Liberty their last time out, taking game one 2-1 and falling in game two 6-4. Wilton is led this year by Chloe Wells and her .400 average at the plate. In the circle, Falloyn Grunder has a 12-11 overall record with 130 innings of work and a 4.46 ERA.

These two teams split a doubleheader a year ago with the Beavers winning game one 7-3 and Mid-Prairie taking game two 8-2. Action begins tonight at 5:30 at Carr, Vincent, Gould Field in Kalona.
