The Iowa Mennonite School baseball and softball teams host the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons tonight in Southeast Iowa Superconference action.

The IMS girls come into the contest with an overall record of 1-5, they were beaten Tuesday at Pekin 8-2. Mia Graber led the way at the plate going two for three with a single and a triple. Hannah Harris took the loss in the circle. On the season IMS is led offensively by Graber and Avery Blauvelt who are both hitting .438. In the circle Harris has worked 35 innings with a 5.75 ERA. L-M enters tonight’s action with an overall record of 15-1. In their last game they beat New London 14-0 in five innings. The Falcons are led by Kylee Sanders who is hitting .561 on the season. In the circle Hailey Sanders is 6-0 with 39 innings of work and a 0.54 ERA. Last year L-M won this matchup 6-0.

On the baseball diamond IMS comes in with an overall record of 5-4, winners of four of their last five including a 3-0 shut out win over Pekin on Tuesday. Drake Brezina threw the complete game shut out for IMS allowing just three hits. On the season IMS is led by Cole Ours hitting .344. On the mound Brezina is 2-2 with 20 innings of work and a 1.45 ERA. L-M comes into the night 7-10 on the year. They lost at New London Tuesday 4-0. On the season the Falcons are led by Lowden Gabriel hitting .531. Brandon Burmeister has 20 innings on the mound with a 2-1 record and 5.25 ERA. Last season L-M beat IMS in Letts 5-2.
