The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team is back to the .500 mark at the 3-3 on the year and they are searching for win number three in a row tonight when they host the Montezuma Braves.

In their last contest IMS won on the road Tuesday at West Burlington 3-2. Cole Ours, Reggie Borntrager and Noah Bruns all had RBI in the win while Drake Brezina got the victory on the hill turning in five innings of one run, two hit baseball. On the season IMS is led by Nick Yutzy, Noah Bruns and Cole Ours all hitting .333. On the hill, Drake Brezina, and Cole and Caleb Yoder have each recorded a victory with Brezina turning in a staff leading 12 innings of work with a 2.27 ERA.

Montezuma is 0-8 on the season entering play tonight. Last time out the Braves were beaten by Keota 17-0. Nolan Reynolds leads the Braves with a .278 average. Gaige Arendt has a team best ERA of 1.40 in five innings of work while Matt Baker leads the staff with 11 innings pitched and a 4.32 ERA.

Action begins tonight at 7PM at Iowa Mennonite School.
