The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team celebrated Senior Night with a 15-0 mercy rule win in four innings over the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves on Tuesday night in Kalona.

IMS got the game started with a 13 batter seven run first inning with hits from Drake Brezina, Nick Yutzy and Cole Ours. Iowa Mennonite batted around again in the third making it 13-0 with a six run 12 batter frame that saw hits from Brezina, Cole Yoder, Blake Bontrager and Yutzy. IMS put the finishing touches on the win with a pair of runs in the fourth with Drew Blauvelt drawing a walk with the bases loaded to end the game.

Eight of the nine players in the IMS lineup scored a run and seven of the nine recorded at least one hit, led by Brezina, Yutzy and Caleb Yoder each with two. Brezina drove in three to lead the way at the plate for IMS. Cole Yoder recorded the win on the hill going all four innings, giving up four hits and striking out four in the shut out. The Wolves were led at the plate by Kleyton Benedict, Cary Stalder, Jared Arnold and Nick Davis with one hit apiece. IMS honored six seniors with a pregame ceremony including Drake Brezina, Nick Yutzy, Cole Yoder, Noah Bruns, Caleb Yoder and Cambridge Hatahaway. With the win IMS is now 10-8 on the year. Winfield-Mt. Union falls to 2-17.
