The Kewash Nature Trail, sewer rates, and Washington County Riverboat Foundation are all on the agenda for the Keota City Council Meeting Monday night.

The council is expected to make a purchase agreement with the Farmer’s Cooperative Association of property on the Kewash Nature Trail. The trailhead project with Keota Unlimited is on the agenda for discussion as well. There are two public hearings scheduled in regards to the city’s sewer plant project. The first is about authorizing a loan to not exceed $530,000 from the Iowa Finance Authority. The second is about increasing sewer rental rates from a minimum of $24 to $27. There are also two resolutions seeking approval to apply for grants to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation, from the Keota Ball Association and Keota Unlimited. The council meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
