The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk baseball and softball teams host the Camanche Indians tonight in River Valley Conference play.

The Golden Hawk baseball team comes into the contest with an overall record of 8-8 after falling to rival Washington Tuesday night in Wellman 8-1. On the season the Golden Hawks are led by Collin Gingerich at the plate hitting .417. On the mound Brad Tornow is 3-1 with a 1.88 ERA. Camanche enters with a 4-11 overall record. In their last action they split a doubleheader with Bellevue 10-6 and 4-2. Everson Cade leads the Indians hitting .333. Cade and PJ Pucket have both worked 16 innings on the year and have a combined record of 1-5 with matching 6.70 ERAs. Last year Mid-Prairie won the matchup 5-4.

On the softball diamond the Golden Hawks are 6-11 on the season after being swept by Fairfield Wednesday night. On the year Mid-Prairie is led by Kathryn Conway and her .536 average. Cassidy Rourke has pitched 79 innings with a 5-6 overall record and 5.05 ERA. Camanche enters tonight with a record of 10-9 after sweeping a doubleheader with Bellevue this week 6-4 and 12-4. The Indians are led by Madi Parson and her .426 average. Abby Stock has a 5-6 record in the circle. In 61 innings of work she has a 4.13 ERA. Last year the Golden Hawks beat the Indians 6-5.
