One man is dead following an officer-involved shooting in North English Saturday.

According to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office and Williamsburg Police Department, 53-year-old Robin Blaylock of North English was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny. At about 8:25 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving a gun in the 100 block of South Walnut Street in North English. According to authorities, the incident led to an officer involved shooting with a man pronounced dead at the scene. The case remains under investigation by the Division of Criminal Investigation.
