Funeral services for 73 year-old Marilyn Marcella Sharpe of Keota, will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Calling hours will begin 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa.  Memorials have been established for the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Washington County.

Increased Attendance at 33rd Annual Trekfest

Another year is in the books for Riverside’s Trekfest and there were some new attractions with this year’s festival, from a reconstructed demolition derby pit, to the unveiling of the Captain “Kirky” Hawkeye statue at the Voyage Home Museum.
