The Sigourney baseball team did some serious work against Melcher-Dallas on Tuesday night winning 12-0 in four innings.

The Savages brought the sticks with them as they exploded for 11 runs in the first three innings. They tacked on one more in the fourth to capture the quick 12-0 mercy-rule win. Freshman Payton Schauf led the way going 3-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored. Dustin Haines and Josh Mohr made quick work on the bump, combining for five innings of scoreless ball and just one hit allowed.

The Savages kept their winning ways going last night when they also defeated Tri-County 13-1. With the wins the Savages improve to 9-6 on the year and get back on the diamond Friday when they travel to English Valleys (3-8).
