Hora Named Player of the Year

Highland senior softball standout Kelsey Hora was named the 2017 Southeast Iowa Superconference co-player of the year.

Hora led the Superconference with a .563 on base percentage, 41 stolen bases, and 51 total hits. Hora was second in the entire conference with a .495 batting average and 44 runs scored. Defensively, she finished the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on 63 chances. Hora shares player of the year honors with Randyn Carter of Louisa-Muscatine. The Huskies finished as Superconference runners up with a 13-1 record in the league.
