The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team is back on the diamond for district action tonight when they travel to Keota to take on the BGM Bears.

IMS is 12-9 on the year. They were a big winner in the opening round of the postseason Tuesday, rolling through Tri-County 14-0, behind a nine run first inning and three home runs, two from Drake Brezina and one from Cole Yoder. On the season, IMS is led by Drake Brezina with his .400 average. He is also 3-2 on the mound in 33 innings of work with a 1.91 ERA. Cole Yoder is a perfect 3-0 with a 2.75ERA.

BGM is 12-14 on the year. They advanced through Tuesday’s first round with an 18-0 win over Keota. On the season the Bears are led by Dylan Shafbuch with his .462 average. On the hill, Shafbuch is 5-1 in 44 innings with a 2.53 ERA. Kyle Doty is 4-1 in 40 innings with a 1.25 ERA.
