The Keota baseball team saw their season come to a close on Tuesday night when they fell to BGM 18-0 in the first round of the class 1A districts.

BGM was at the top of their game on Tuesday as they scored early and often en route to their first round win. The Bears offense was clicking on all cylinders as they racked up 12 hits off the Eagles. Leading the way for the Bears was Kyle Doty going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored. Doty also went four innings pitched without giving up a run. Jacob Wickencamp finished his impressive season on the bump for the Eagles as he capped off his ERA at 3.50.

With the win BGM moves to 12-14 on the year and advance to the district semifinal round against IMS today at Keota. The Eagles finish off their season at 10-11 and lose Wickencamp and Anthony Campbell to graduation.
