Washington’s downtown gallery walk will come to an end tomorrow with an art auction.

The third annual Totally Tubular Transformation project challenged area people to creatively transform discarded water softener tubes into artistic masterpieces. Isabella Santoro with the LET’s Center for the Creative and Healing Arts shares the money will be divided between two local non-profits, the LET’s Center and PAWS and More animal shelter in Washington. This year’s theme was animals and there are geometric deer, a rocking horse, and a penguin butler. On Saturday the animal-themed tubes will be auctioned off with a portion of the proceeds going to PAWS at noon on the grandstand in Central Park. Visit KCII Radio’s Facebook page to see a few of the artistic tubes.
