Cattle, swine, goats, sheep, rabbits and more were part of the 4-H and FFA livestock auction to conclude the 2017 Washington County Fair.

A pancake breakfast was held ahead of the annual auction, hosted by the Washington County Farm Bureau and the Washington County Pork Producers. In the ring, livestock was shown by 4-H or FFA members and 61 local businesses and personal buyers took away livestock. The checks were then given to the students who raised the animals. Auctioneers included Keith Murphy, Dwight Duwa, Brayton Turner, and Margaret Crawford.
