The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team came up short Friday night in a road loss to the Wapello Indians 4-3.

The Indians did all of their damage in the first inning, pushing across four runs and made that crooked number stand up the rest of the night. IMS battled back with a pair in the second and put together a late threat in the sixth, scoring once but stranding the tying and go-ahead runs on base. With the loss IMS falls to 11-9 on the season.
