For $50,200 the Washington County Board of Supervisors purchased property in the City of Washington Tuesday.

During their regular meeting Tuesday, the board unanimously approved the purchase of 302 West Main Street. The property sits directly across the street from the main entrance of the county courthouse. The exact use of the property has not be finalized, but the board has considered removing the house and using the land for a parking lot. In May, the board voted 4-1 to purchase the property, Abe Miller was the only vote against it two months ago.
