A vehicle purchase, replacing a yield sign with a stop sign, and accepting the seal coat project will be considered by the Washington City Council Tuesday.

In a regular session meeting the council has a brief agenda, including a request for vehicle purchase for the water treatment plant. The department currently has one vehicle and staff have had to use personal vehicles regularly. The proposal is for an Explorer and the state bid was $26,125. The proposed stop sign would be at the intersection of East Tyler Street and South 9th Avenue, where currently there is a yield sign. The council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Washington Public Library.
