The Washington County Fair has come to a close, the Iowa State Fair begins next week and Ak-Sar-Ben registration is now open.
It’s been a busy time of the year for area youth showing livestock. Local youth can register to be part of the stock show at Ak-Sar-Ben. The show is held in Grand Island, Nebraska, September 28-30th. Horses, cattle, sheep, swine and poultry are featured. Entry forms are available online and must be turned in by August 31st. For exhibitor entry forms click here.
