The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team was recently recognized for their play on the diamond this year by the Southeast Iowa Superconference

IMS had three all-conference selections.

 

Senior Drake Brezina was a first team all Southeast Iowa Superconference choice. Brezina led the team hitting .402 overall. His .671 slugging percentage is 10th in the Superconference, and his 26 RBI are seventh. On the hill Brezina finished with a team high 4 wins. His 61 strikeouts in 44 innings was fifth in the conference, those 44 innings thrown were fourth most.

Senior Nick Yutzy was an honorable mention all-conference selection. He hit .293 with 22 total hits, 12 RBI, and 15 runs scored.

Sophomore Blake Bontrager was an honorable mention all-conference selection. His 1.13 ERA was third best in the Superconference for those with at least 20 innings pitched. Bontrager hit .266 at the plate with 17 hits and eight RBI.

IMS ended the season with a 14-10 overall record.
