A local girl placed second in a singing contest at the Iowa State Fair.

Yodelers, singers, and whistlers took part in contests at Pioneer Hall. In the five- to 12-year-old division five-year-old Adrian Green of Brighton took second place. She sang a song about Iowa and shared it with KCII, listen to the clip below. She shares it took a while to learn and her grandmother taught her that song. Pam Green says Adrian sings 24/7 and it was fun to teach her the song she had learned while on a 4-H trip in high school.
