Have a dog who loves to swim?

You’ll have a chance to take it to the pool for the 11th annual dog paddle at the Steele Family Aquatic Center before the pool is drained for the season. Director of PAWS and More Amber Talbot explains the event is a partnership with the dog park, and this will be the second year that it benefits the shelter. For $5 a dog can go swimming in the pool. Proof of rabies vaccine and only altered dogs are allowed for safety reasons. Microchipping will cost $20 per dog. Talbot adds dogs of all breeds enjoy the event. It will be held Sunday, August 27th, from 1-4 p.m.
