The Demon volleyball team will look to lean on some experience to lead them in the upcoming season to improve off a 2016 campaign where they went 3-23.

Washington will have to fill a couple holes as they lost three of their top four kill leaders from a year ago with Olivia Postl, Alexis Turner, and Jessie Buchholz graduating. A solid foundation does return however, starting with their top setter in Megan Mitchell. The senior was fourth in the Southeast Conference in 2016 for assists with 243. Morgan Brinning returns as a solid defender a year ago with a team leading 110 digs. Isabel Bailey could cause havoc for opponents, as she will look to build off the third most blocks in the conference with 17. The junior also is the top returner offensively with the second most kills last season with 78.

The Demons will kickoff their season on August 24th traveling to Wellman to face off with Mid-Prairie in an area showdown.
