Gubernatorial candidate Nate Boulton (D) will be returning to his hometown of Columbus Junction Friday as part of his weeklong “Listen and Learn Tour”.

He is seeking the Democratic nomination to run for governor of Iowa. Boulton will visit the Columbus Community High School at 8:30 a.m. The meeting is not open to the public. The tour’s focus is to engage students, teachers, instructors, administrators, parents, and counselors through different events. Boulton seeks to highlight the importance of investing in every aspect of Iowa’s education system and the need to prioritize Iowa students and educators. Boulton, a lawyer, represents the 16th district in the Iowa State Senate.
