The tradition of successful Highland softball did not disappoint this season as the Huskies dominated many statistical categories in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.

The Huskies finished second in the SEISC with a record of 21-8. No team posted more all-conference honors than Highland with eight players. As a team they posted the third-best batting average in the league with .350 and knocked in 167 runs, also third-best. Speed was the name of the game for the Huskies as they led the conference with 119 stolen bases. In the circle the team had the fourth-best ERA in the conference with 3.32.

Individually, conference player of the year Kelsey Hora led the league in on-base percentage with .563 and stolen bases with 41. Abbie Miller was a clutch hitter posting the second most RBI in the SEISC with 41. In the circle Megan Hoenig had the fourth-best ERA in the league with 2.53.

Expect the legend of Highland softball to grow next year as they just lose Hora and Lindsay Wide to graduation.
