The Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team begins the Southeast Iowa Superconference season tonight when they travel to Wapello.

IMS is a perfect 3-0 on the early season after sweeping Fairfield, Albia and Eddyville-Blakesburg at least week’s Fairfield quadrangular. On the season IMS is led by Mia Graber with 14 kills. Sami Miller has a team best 40 assists and Suzanna Yoder leads the IMS defense with 30 digs.

 

The Wapello Arrows enter tonight with an overall record of 3-1, with wins over Pekin, Sigourney and Van Buren with a loss to West Burlington at the WACO tournament last week to open the season. The Arrows are led on the year by Miriah Mitchell with 51 kills. Addison Lolling is the team leader with 68 assists and Kirsten Hank leads the Wapello defense with 18 digs.

Last year Wapello swept IMS in straight sets. Action begins tonight at 7:30 in Wapello.
