Winfield-Mt. Union hosted top five Lisbon Friday night and the visiting Lions came away with a 42-0 win.

The Lions struck early with a pair of scores in the first quarter on Jake Jennet touchdown passes, one to Bryce Hasselman from 47 yards out the other to Austin Krob from 38 yards. Lisbon scored three more times in the second frame with Jennet finding the end zone with his legs from 26 yards out, along with scoring runs of two and 10 yards from Clayton Hudson and Ryne Mohrfield respectively to give Lisbon a 35-0 lead at the break.

The Lions put up their final points on the first play of the second half with Krob returning the opening kickoff 70 yards for a score.

Lisbon outgained WMU 246-111 on the night, including 92-46 through the air and 154-65 on the ground. The Wolves were led by Christian Gerot through the air four of 12 for 29 yards. On the ground Graham Hagge had 11 carries for 29 yards.

With the loss the Wolves are now 0-2 on the season and travel to Wapello Friday.
