A Riverside woman was arrested on multiple drug charges following a vehicle stop Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 2:27 p.m. a sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of Redwood Avenue near Riverside. Officials arrested 34-year-old Heather Marie Howard-Butler on a Nebraska warrant for attempted possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine, tetrahydrocannabinols (THC), and zolpidem tartrate, as well as unlawful acts relating to drugs and possession of or use of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $30,000. Howard-Butler was taken to the Washington County Jail and a detainer was placed for the Nebraska county where the warrants originated.
