In a game full of the top high school football players in the state, Bryce Sinn put a Washington helmet on one last time as he represented the Demons in the 45th annual Iowa Shrine Bowl in Cedar Falls.

Sinn represented the South team in the contest as they fell 30-13. Last season, the graduated defensive end led the Demons with 64 tackles, nine sacks, and four fumble recoveries.. He also showed his versatility as a tight end hauling in 16 receptions for 214 yards and three touchdowns.

The Iowa Shrine Bowl is not only a game full of all-stars but the event is for a good cause. Proceeds go to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children and in the 45 years of existence, the game has produced $2,358,000. To be invited to participate in the game a player must be nominated by their coach. When asked why he chose Sinn for the event, head coach of the Demons Garrison Carter noted, “Bryce is a tremendous representation for the Demons with his character and to combine that with his play, he was a great choice.”

Sinn will continue his football career this fall at Loras College in Dubuque.
