After a 10-day layoff the WACO (1-2) volleyball team gets back on the court tomorrow night when they host Danville (1-3) for a conference matchup.

If history repeats itself we should be in for a good one, as WACO won the battle between these two squads a year ago winning 15-13 in the fifth set in a back and forth affair. The Warriors started up their season last Monday when they fell to Centerville and Van Buren but then beat Columbus Community in their own tournament. Clara Schmitz is leading the Warriors on the young season with 18 kills on 36 attempts and has been successful on all 10 serve attempts. Laney Graber managed 42 assists as the setter in her sophomore debut.

Danville was victorious in one of their four contests on Saturday when they hosted a tournament. The Warriors will have to stop the offensive firepower of Emma Jarrett who leads the Bears with 24 kills on 66 attempts. The defensive abilities of Teagan Kruse could cause some havoc as she leads the team with 27 digs.

The conference matchup gets started at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at WACO High School.
