The Highland (2-4) volleyball team entertains Winfield-Mt. Union (2-4) tonight in an early season conference matchup.

After claiming the Keota tournament title the Huskies had a rough go  Saturday dropping all four games at West Branch. On the young season Brylee Carolan is leading the way with 23 kills and converted 12 of her serve attempts into four aces. Sydney Black has been a valuable asset defensively leading the South Iowa Super Conference with 104 digs. Kylie Wood and Murphy Beinhart have combined for 63 assists as setters.

The Wolves went 2-3 at the West Branch tournament including defeating the Huskies. WMU has had great contributions from a pair of freshman with Jenna Buffington leading the team in kills with 33 and Kyndal Townsley leading in digs with 42. Lauren Jamison has collected 56 assists in the six matches.

The area matchup gets started at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Highland High School.
