The Sigourney-Keota Cobra football team is back on the field tonight when they welcome Iowa City Regina.

S-K is coming off of their first win of the season last week when they blasted the Highland Huskies in their district opener 60-13. The Cobras racked up 373 yards on the ground as a team. Carson Crawford finished with 157 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns. On the season the Cobras are led by Luke Greiner through the air, he’s 14 of 28 for 238 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Jack Eakins is the leading receiver with seven catches for 148 yards and a pair of scores. Crawford has the team lead on the ground with 537 yards and five touchdowns on 64 carries. Greiner also has five touchdowns on the ground along with his 319 yards. Crawford also leads the Cobra defense with 18.5 tackles on the year, including five tackles for loss.

Iowa City Regina enters tonight’s contest ranked No. 4 in class 1A in the latest poll from the Associated Press. The Regals got their first win of the season last week, rolling through Wapello 56-7. Michael Conlon led Regina with a big night through the air, going 12 of 18 for 305 yards and three touchdowns. On the season Conlon is 39 of 72 for 482 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. His favorite target is Alec Wick with 11 catches for 157 yards and a touchdown. Isaac Vollstedt leads the ground game with 38 carries for 259 yards. Defensively Ryan Schott holds the team lead for Regina with 21 total tackles.

These two teams met a season ago with the Regals taking a 50-28 win. Action kicks off at 7:30 tonight at Sigourney High School.
